"Hilalna Fi Baytna" Returns for Its Second edition to Strengthen the Spirit of Ramadan in Dubai in Homes

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has launched the second edition of its Ramadan program " Hilalna Fi Baytna," under the initiative "Ramadan in Dubai," encouraging members of the community to document the best moments of the holy month and share them with others through social media platforms.

The program gives the public the opportunity to participate by sharing their photos and videos, including the best photo of a Ramadan table, the most beautiful corner decorated with the spirit of Ramadan, and the best home lighting to celebrate the holy month. These contributions will be shared on IACAD’s social media platforms, and three winners will be selected daily to receive valuable shopping vouchers from Al-Futtaim Group.

In this context, Mr. Mohammed Musbah Dhahi, Executive Director of the Charitable Work Sector and General Coordinator of the "Ramadan in Dubai" initiative at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, confirmed that the program is part of IACAD’s efforts to engage the community in the Ramadan atmosphere and enhance the spirit of giving and family communication. He added that the holy month is a golden opportunity to promote the values and principles of our noble religion, and through this event, we aim to utilize social media platforms to spread positivity and create an environment that encourages everyone, both young and old, to express their joy of Ramadan in a creative way.

The program also emphasizes the role of social media in creating an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere during the holy month, aiming to involve all segments of the community in an environment filled with creativity and purposeful competition.

The submission of entries will continue until the 19th of Ramadan, with participants required to add the department's hashtag for "Helalna Fi Baytna" or tag the official account @IACADDUBAI when posting their entries.
