His Excellency Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, affirmed that the United Arab Emirates has made a difference in the humanitarian work field worldwide, and will remain the forerunner and the pioneering in establishing the values of goodness and assistance.
“The leadership taught us how to continue to give under any circumstances,” Al Shaibani said, during the session organized by the Emirates Association for Social Development in Ras Al Khaimah, confirming by the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
“Charitable work has benefited from the efforts made by the UAE since the beginning of the pandemic by raising the level of its readiness and efficiency. Maktoum Holy Quran memorization centers of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, had a significant increasing in its memorizing sessions, in which it reached 60 sessions, and the participants reached more than 4,200 worldwide.” Al Shaibani said, stressing that this is an evidence of work development.
Director General called on everyone who wants to implement a charitable work to turn it into a charitable endowment, where the UAE has created a comprehensive database that serves its orientation, which contributed to strengthening the UAE’s position globally and helped in winning first place. Al Shaibani stressed the importance of coordination in the implementation of charitable work inside and outside the UAE.
Al-Shaibani cinfirmed that a good treatment is the most prominent reason for new Muslims to convert to Islam, as the Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center has been promoting the correct moderate image of the Islamic religion.
