Good Samaritan Donates AED 20,000 for Urgent Surgery of Young Moroccan Patient , in coordination with the Dubai Islamic Affairs and the hotline.

A generous donor has covered AED 20,000 in medical expenses for Hanan, a 24-year-old Moroccan patient, who urgently required surgery to replace artificial stents in her urinary tract to ensure normal urine flow and prevent severe complications.

Hanan expressed her deep gratitude and happiness at the timely assistance, especially given her difficult financial situation. She praised the people of the UAE for their continuous acts of generosity, describing their compassion and willingness to help as a hallmark of Emirati society.

The Hotline team coordinated with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai to ensure the donation was directly transferred to Hanan’s account at Amina Hospital in Ajman, where she is receiving treatment.

Emarat Al Youm had previously published her story on May 29, highlighting her medical condition as outlined in a report from Amina Hospital. The report stated that Hanan had been admitted to the emergency department due to severe abdominal pain caused by a blockage in the stents. Doctors warned that any delay in the surgical intervention could lead to acute kidney failure.

Hanan explained that her condition was initially treated in Morocco, where she underwent a procedure to insert stents. Upon returning to the UAE, she committed to following up regularly for replacements. However, due to financial hardship, she was unable to undergo a follow-up surgery for over five months, leading to a decline in her health.

She concluded by thanking the donor for responding to her appeal and helping her through this critical period. Hanan shared that this support has renewed her hope and allowed her to continue fulfilling her responsibilities toward her family.
