As part of its efforts to promote religious awareness and disseminate authentic Islamic scholarship, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) is organizing a specialized scholarly course titled “Explanation of Al-Nawawi’s Book of Adhkar”, delivered by lecturer Maryam Ahmed Al-Haddad, under the Riadh Al-Quran program at the Nad Al Sheba Women’s Center.

The course aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the importance of remembrance (dhikr) in the Qur’an and Sunnah, highlighting its role in spiritual refinement and upright conduct. It also seeks to empower women in applying authentic adhkar in their daily lives, fostering spiritual tranquility and strengthening commitment to the Prophetic guidance.

The program covers a number of key themes, including the virtues of dhikr as mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, an overview of the essential daily supplications observed by Muslims, and the practical benefits of these adhkar and their positive impact on both individuals and society. The content is presented in a simplified scholarly manner tailored to different levels of learners.

The course targets women from the broader community as part of IACAD’s efforts to support community-based religious education and enhance women’s participation in circles of Islamic learning, in alignment with the department’s strategic objectives of promoting moderation, balance, and the noble values of Islam.

The course will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams every Sunday starting from January 25, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and is designated for women only, with participants receiving certificates of completion.

This initiative reflects the vision of our wise leadership in supporting sound religious education, strengthening the connection with the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, and cultivating an aware society grounded in authentic Islamic sources.
