The initiative aims to revive the spiritual atmosphere in Dubai’s mosques by selecting a group of reciters with mastery of Tajweed (Quranic recitation rules). This reflects Dubai's commitment to its role as a global hub for moderate Islamic identity.

We are keen to provide a distinguished experience that reflects Dubai's position as a center for moderate Islamic identity, while strengthening the role of the neighborhood imam and muezzin in solidifying community bonds."
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department emphasized that this initiative is part of its efforts to reinforce Dubai's status as a global destination for moderate Islamic identity and to activate the role of mosques as centers for promoting tolerant Islamic values during the holy month of Ramadan.
