The Department of Communications and Marketing in Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department hosted 11 medical companies, in a tent located on the external arena, in the main building of the Department, coincided with World Health Day.

The event attended by several hospitals such as Barajil Hospital for Orthopedic and Family Medicine, Prime Hospital for General Screening, Al Garhoud Hospital for General Screenings, Free Medical Gifts, Ear Care Center for Hearing Testing, Born Hall Health Center. The department shows big interest in women’s health by hosting the first company specializing in early examination of breast problems, skin care, the Kaya skin test clinic, Abbott Children's Health Company, Sepamed Company care for the body's health, Dr. Nutrition to treat obesity.

The medical tent attended by a large number of employees and staffs. Medical examinations were conducted for all visitors. A series of workshops and lectures included medical awareness and free tests, especially regarding the detection of blood sugar levels, blood pressure, levels of obesity and the need for nutritional supplements.

In addition, the Medical Services has distributed medical information between specialists and visitors, and distributed medical gifts. The Department's initiative on this international day praised by the employees for its good organization and to cooperate with them in the medical field, so that all employees can review them, in light of insurance coverage of their needs without paying additional fees.
