IACAD enriches the emirate's mosques with July lessons to promote Islamic values in the Year of the Community.

As part of its educational and awareness-raising mission, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai )IACAD) has announced the launch of its series of lectures and educational sessions for the month of July 2025, to be held in a number of mosques across the emirate. This initiative comes within its strategic plan aimed at being closer to the community and in line with the vision of our wise leadership in the Year of Community.

The lectures seek to revive the biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the hearts, instill upright behavior, and spread authentic Islamic awareness in souls. This is achieved through themes that touch on individuals’ realities and meet their contemporary needs, while making use of seasons of goodness, so that the pulpits of mosques remain a strong presence in people's lives.

The July program is rich with impactful and meaningful topics, including: encouraging fasting on the Day of Ashura, making the most of the summer vacation, the Prophet’s ﷺ relationship with the Qur’an, how the Prophet ﷺ dealt with youth, the virtue of forgiveness and tolerance, the warning against neglecting Friday and congregational prayers, the dangers of bullying others, the warning against the Khawarij, and moments when the Prophet ﷺ wept. In addition to jurisprudential lessons such as: fiqh-related issues concerning travel, and matters related to zakat. There will also be lessons on the Prophetic biography and its key figures, including: from the life of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), and reflections on the hadith of Suhayb al-Rumi: "Wondrous is the affair of the believer."

The lectures aim to build solid religious awareness based on the ethics and tolerant principles of Islam, while enhancing interaction with mosques as centers of intellectual and cultural influence, and reviving the Prophetic guidance in various aspects of life. Through these awareness programs, Islamic Affairs Dubai reaffirms the role of mosques as centers of intellectual and educational radiance, and its commitment to providing reliable religious content overseen by a group of qualified scholars and preachers, in a way that suits the various segments of society and fulfills its vision of instilling values, preserving identity, and nurturing individuals who are proud of their religion and contribute to building their community with believing hearts and sound minds.
