The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced its readiness to accommodate over 35,000 worshippers for Eid Al-Adha prayers for the year 1446 AH – 2025 at designated prayer grounds across Dubai suburban areas. This is being carried out in cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the prayers are organized to the highest standards.
Ahmed Kankzar, Director of the External Centers Department, stated that preparations include equipping the prayer areas and providing all necessary facilities to ensure the comfort of worshippers and ease of access to the prayer sites. He noted that three main locations have been designated based on their capacity: the Al Quoz prayer ground can host over 10,000 worshippers, the Muhaisnah site can accommodate between 7,000 and 10,000, and the Jebel Ali location is expected to receive around 15,000 worshippers.
Kankzar urged worshippers to arrive early to facilitate smooth entry and exit and avoid congestion. He also emphasized the importance of adhering to organizational guidelines and cooperating with supervising teams to ensure a smooth flow of movement and a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for all.
