Donors Cover 250,000 AED for Ahmed’s mother Treatment in Coordination with IACAD and the Hotline

Donors Cover 250,000 AED for Ahmed’s mother Treatment in Coordination with IACAD and the Hotline

A group of donors has taken the initiative to cover the cost of 250,000 AED for obtaining a health insurance card for the patient " Ahmed’s mother " who is suffering from acute leukemia. This support came after the patient appealed for assistance in covering the insurance costs due to her difficult health circumstances. The payment was coordinated between The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and the Hotline to transfer the funds to her account at a health insurance company.

"Ahmed’s mother" expressed her deep gratitude to the donors, praising the solidarity of the UAE community with those in need. She stated, "I received a call informing me of the donation, which brought joy to me and my family. This noble gesture reflects everyone's unity in supporting those in need."

The patient, who is in her forties, experienced a sudden health crisis that led to the discovery of her acute leukemia. She required four to five chemotherapy sessions, but her family's financial situation prevented them from completing the treatment due to the lack of health insurance.

According to medical reports, her condition was diagnosed at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, where necessary tests were conducted, and she received an initial treatment dose. Despite starting her treatment, she was unable to receive the second dose due to funding shortages, which delayed her recovery.

The patient emphasized that the support from the donors reflects the spirit of cooperation within the community, which reinforces her hope for completing her treatment and recovery.
