A donor has stepped in to assist "Abu Mukhtar" by covering his tuition arrears and renewing health insurance cards with a total amount of AED12,821. The "Hotline" of Emirates Today coordinated with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai to transfer the funds to the relevant authorities.
Last week, Emirates Today published the story of "Abu Mukhtar's" struggles, where he expressed deep gratitude to the donor for their support during these challenging times. The father had been unable to renew the health insurance cards for his family and pay his sons' tuition fees due to the financial difficulties he faces, especially since two of his children suffer from chronic illnesses, and his wife requires ongoing medical care following a stroke.
"Abu Mukhtar" confirmed that, given his tough financial situation, he could not renew the health insurance cards and that he is unemployed, which adds to his struggles. He has also been threatened with eviction from his home due to nine months of overdue rent.
