As part of the Dubai Islamic Culture Season, The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, represented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture, organized the "Discover the Beauty of the UAE" program. The event highlighted the role of mosques as symbols of cultural and human connection, merging worship, education, and the promotion of values of tolerance.
The program included impactful educational lectures on Islamic and Emirati culture, as well as a guided tour to explore key landmarks such as Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Mosque (may God have mercy on him) in Al Muhaisnah Fourth, and the Workers' Housing Mosque. These mosques emphasize their role as bridges connecting different peoples and cultures, aligning with the UAE's vision of building a sustainable future based on coexistence and mutual respect.
The event received widespread praise and saw remarkable attendance from participants of various nationalities and cultures, with over a hundred attendees expressing their admiration for how the UAE blends authenticity and modernity in presenting its Islamic culture.
IACAD reaffirmed its commitment to organizing such events, which serve as an open invitation for people worldwide to discover the true beauty of Islam. Mosques, as the beating heart of knowledge, stand as welcoming destinations for those seeking to learn about the noble values the UAE strives to promote globally.
