During his visit to Al Jalila Foundation, AHMED DARWISH AL MUHAIRI, Director General of Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), stated: "In line with the directives of the United Arab Emirates’ wise leadership to solidify Dubai's global position as a model for philanthropic and humanitarian endeavors, the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department in Dubai is dedicated to reinforcing its societal role. It embraces the entrusted responsibility of being the world's foremost Islamic and charitable entity by the year 2033. This commitment involves actively engaging in and supporting community initiatives, particularly those focused on promoting health within the UAE. The establishment of the laboratory marks another step in the ongoing pursuit of sustainable charitable efforts.

(AL MUHAIRI highlighted that the Department earmarked AED 15 million from the Community Solidarity Fund to aid in establishing the Infectious Diseases and Protein Molecule Engineering Centers at Al Jalila Foundation. This action reaffirms the Department's ongoing endorsement of these projects, which align with the humanitarian values upheld by the people of the UAE to safeguard the well-being of individuals and promote the health of the community).
