A lecture was held last night at Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Mosque/Masjid in Al Garhoud to raise awareness among Muslim communities as part of the Dubai Ramadan Initiative 1443 AH - 2022 AD activities organized by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai.
The lecture was delivered by the Mufti of Zimbabwe, Ismail Menk, in English entitled (Etiquette of Islamic Culture) immediately after the Tarawih prayer, which was attended by nearly 5,000 men and women.
The Mufti said about you that all humanity needs peace, understanding, tolerance and civilized communication, in this time more than ever, especially in the holy month of Ramadan, and in this holy month we learn many things that we think are small but have a great impact. He even teaches us to apply these values in our lives, pointing out that saying "Peace be upon you" is not just a few words, but rather a way of making sure that one's owner is in protection and safety and in God's care, and that the Muslim must start doing this in his family when he leaves home, with his neighbor, in his community, and throughout the world.
Seminars
It is worth mentioning that Dubai's Ramadan initiative, which this year includes the Dubai Readers Program, has been launched in 11 Mosque/Masjid in the Emirate of Dubai with a total of 62 readers.
