Understand Your Life Partner

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai invites the public to attend a family lecture titled “Understand Your Life Partner”, held as part of the “Family Pulse” program and presented by Dr. Ismail Kamel Al-Buraimi, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, via Microsoft Teams. The lecture aims to enhance understanding and closeness between spouses by providing them with a deeper insight into the psychological, social, and emotional nature of both men and women — contributing to the building of more harmonious and stable family relationships. It will address a number of key topics, including: The psychological differences between men and women in terms of biological and emotional nature. Social and educational differences and the influence of environment in shaping each partner’s personality. Skills of understanding, dialogue, and “reading” the other person that foster effective communication and strengthen mutual respect and understanding within the family. This lecture comes as part of the department’s commitment to promoting family awareness and reinforcing values of cohesion and affection among members of society — thereby achieving family and social stability in line with Dubai’s vision of building a balanced and cohesive community.
