The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai is organizing a distinguished course on ethics and manners titled “Take the Book with Strength.” The course focuses on instilling values of respect and proper conduct in accordance with the etiquettes of the Holy Qur’an and nurturing the soul to embody the noble character befitting a bearer of the Book of Allah Almighty. The course aims to acquaint participants with the etiquettes of those who carry and memorize the Qur’an, and to enhance their morals and behavior in a way that reflects the honor of the Word of Allah. It will be held through a series of educational and awareness sessions from October 28 to November 10, 2025, during the morning period from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM., at the Umm Al Sheif Islamic Cultural Center.

The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Adel Hassan Mohammed Al Marzouqi. It will address several key themes, including the dangers of disobedience to parents and its negative impact on both individuals and society, while presenting practical examples that reflect the meanings of gratitude and kindness toward parents. The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department is organizing the “Means of Steadfastness in Ramadan” event, presented by Dr. Najat Alawi, on March 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The lecture will focus on maintaining continuity in acts of worship after Ramadan through key topics, including: The importance of consistency in worship and avoiding seasonal devotion. Identifying the main causes of spiritual decline after periods of heightened devotion and ways to address them. Practical methods for steadfastness and righteousness, including simple daily programs to help maintain worship after Ramadan. This event is part of the Department’s efforts to raise religious awareness and provide practical guidance to the community to sustain steadfastness in faith and devotion.
